The Club’s Senior Men had their best day ever at the National 6-Stage Championships in Sutton Park, when the A team finished in sixth with the B team in 17th (and second B team).

As the arena began to fill to its 50,000 capacity, announcing the biggest audience for a one day athletics meeting in the world, the team of Daniel Guinness, Joshua Martin, Marcus Gayle and Freddie Arkell came home clear winners in 40.52 to set a new all time Hercules Wimbledon club record in the process.

Team Captain Freddie Slemeck also bagged the individual bronze medal; and there were team silvers for both the U13 Boys and U13 Girls, with Thomas Whorton taking the individual U13 Boys silver medal, and Isabella Harrison the U13 Girls bronze medal. U20 Ellen Weir also had a great run, coming home fifth in the Senior Women's race.
