It was another outstanding weekend on the national stage for HW athletes, especially the Under 15s, with a gold medal-winning performance by Freddie Arkell in the U15 200m at the England U20/U17 and U15 Indoor Championships in Sheffield and an impressive performance by the Girls U15 team at the English Cross Country Championships.

A successful weekend at the Surrey Indoor Championships at the David Weir Leisure Centre, Carshalton, saw HW athletes bagging 13 medals, of which seven were gold.

Meanwhile at Lee Valley two of the Club’s young guns picked up medals at the Southern Indoor Championships.
