Race organiser Richard Xerri, would like to thank all those marshals and officials from Hercules Wimbledon AC and the numerous friends of Hercules Wimbledon who stuck to their task on arguably the wettest race day witnessed for this event for many a decade.

With each passing year, the increase in traffic and the ever growing Health and Safety requirements that have to be met, presents race organisers with a heavy workload so any offers of help prior to race day would be much appreciated.

It is planned to hold the 49^th running of this event on Sunday, October 4^th, 2009, once again with a 10am start, so check out website www.herculeswimbledonac.org.uk nearer the date.
